RivaTuner supports all NVIDIA display adapters starting from Riva TNT family up to the latest GeForce 8800 series and widest range of NVIDIA drivers starting from the oldest Detonator 2.08 up to the newest ForceWare drivers family.

In addition to complete NVIDIA hardware support, RivaTuner also provides limited support for display adapters based upon ATI RADEON 8500 and newer ATI graphics processors. All RivaTuner's features besides driver-level tuning options are also available on supported ATI hardware.

Added NVIDIA G92 graphics processors family support. Now RivaTuner's driver-level tuning and low-level features including overclocking, monitoring, diagnostics and fan control are available on NVIDIA 8800GT and other upcoming G92 based NVIDIA products.

Improved driver-level fan control tab for NVIDIA display adapters��Added driver-level fan control tab for NVIDIA Vista drivers. Driver-level fan control tab is now hidden on display adapters supporting binary fan control only (i.e. able either to run fan at full speed or shut it down completely) to avoid confusing beginners.

Improved low-level overclocking tab for ATI R6xx/RV6xx display adapters: Now RivaTuner supports overclocking on ATI RV6xx display adapters using DPM (Dynamic Power Management) clock frequency adjustment. Now RivaTuner restores default clocks on ATI R6xx/RV6xx by means of the driver's PowerPlay table reset if possible.

Improved low-level fan control tab: Improved duty cycle generation accuracy for display adapters using LM63, LM64, F75363 and ADT7473 external I2C fan controllers. Added low-level fan control support for ATI RV6xx integrated fan controllers. Added low-level fan control support for NVIDIA NV3x and newer integrated fan controllers.

Improved hardware monitoring module: Added ATI RV6xx DPM (Dynamic Power Management) technology support. Added 'Reference fan duty cycle' graph for ATI RV6xx graphics processors families. Added 'Reference fan duty cycle' graph for NVIDIA G80 and newer graphics processors families. Heavily optimized low-level I2C bus access algorithms for NVIDIA G80 and newer graphics processors families. Now hardware monitoring graph renderer flushes bitmap caches after each display mode change to help display driver to render the graphs in optimal way.

Improved diagnostic report module: Improved navigation via the list of diagnostic report categories. Improved PowerPlay table flags decoding in 'ATI VGA BIOS information' diagnostic report category.

Now RivaTuner also uses Vista specific NVAPI interfaces for driver-level thermal monitoring, overclocking and fan control under Windows XP for the ForceWare 167.xx and newer drivers. NVAPI usage can be either completely restricted by setting NVAPIUsageBehaviour registry entry to 0 or alternately NVAPI usage can be partially restricted just for some driver-level tasks with NVAPIThermalControl, NVAPIClockControl and NVAPIFanControl registry entries.

Added MMIO protection fallback support. Now RivaTuner automatically disables MMIO protection, notifies the user and starts in unprotected mode if the protective system is unable to allocate required protected MMIO range aperture (e.g. due to fragmented or limited kernel address space).

Added #opt tag support to driver files database parser to allow including optional driver files in the database. This token was exclusively added to provide detection of ATI's ramdomly named OpenGL ICD drivers.

Now RivaTuner uses %RTFolder% macro name when saving a path to external resources (e.g. databases or hardware monitoring log files) stored in the application folder. Power users can disable this feature by setting AllowRelativePathsEncoding registry entry to 0.

SpeedFan 4.33 Windows 9x/ME/NT4/2000/XP(x32/x64)/2003.

SpeedFan is a program that monitors voltages, fan speeds and temperatures in computers with hardware monitor chips. SpeedFan can even access S.M.A.R.T. info for those hard disks that support this feature and show hard disk temperatures too, if supported. SpeedFan supports SCSI disks too. SpeedFan can even change the FSB on some hardware (but this should be considered a bonus feature). At the lowest level, SpeedFan is a hardware monitor software that can access digital temperature sensors, but its main feature is that it can change fan speeds (depending on the capabilities of your sensor chip and your hardware) according to the temperatures inside your pc, thus reducing noise. Several sensors, like Winbond's and the AS99127F support fan speed changing, as well as others from Maxim, Myson, Analog Devices, National Semiconductor and ITE, but the hardware manufacturer must have connected the relevant pins to some additional, yet trivial, circuitry. This means that if you have, say, a Winbond W83782D on a BP6 then you're ok, but not every motherboard with such a hardware monitor chip will be able to change fan speeds. From one of the very first hardware monitor chips that could be found in standard PCs, the National Semiconductor LM75 (and all of its clones, like the Philips NE1617 and the Philips NE1618 or the Maxim MAX1617) or the Analog Devices ADM1021, such chips have been greatly improved, both in their precision and in their capabilities. Current chips can monitor fan speeds, voltages and change fan speeds by using PWMs (Pulse Width Modulation). Some chips can even be programmed to vary fan speeds without any additional software intervention. If your BIOS was programmed to setup such chips this way you can still try to use SpeedFan's Advanced Configuration to revert to manual (software controlled) mode. Winbond W83697HF, Analog Devices ADT7463, SMSC EMC6D102, ITE IT8712F, National LM85C and Maxim MAX6650 are very good candidates. Some SuperIO chips include temperature sensors too. SpeedFan can automatically detect them and use their features. SpeedFan can find almost any hardware monitor chip connected to the 2-wire SMBus (System Management Bus, a subset of the I2C BUS) Serial Interface and to the ISA BUS and works fine with Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000, 2003 and Windows XP. It works with Windows 64 bit too. It can be minimized to the tray and is compatible with Motherboard Monitor 5.

NextSensor is an easy to use temperature and voltage monitoring tool. It probes the AMD64 on-die thermal diode (independent monitoring of each core for dual core CPUs), Vcore, VDIMM, VAGP, VBAT, 5VSB, 3VSB, +12, -12, +5V, -5V, +3.3V sensor lines and shows system temperatures (including processor, HDD and North Bridge) in the Tray Bar. The program is capable of monitoring negative temperatures, includes the NextSensor Remote Monitor function that allows to remotely monitor voltage, temperature and fan speed parameters. The current version supports many popular Winbond, Fintek and ITE Super I/O LPC chips.

You can also download a plug-in for NextSensor, called VT-Trigger, which will allow you to reduce the clock speed of any processor using the VIA VT8235/7 South Bridge clock throttling mechanism.

Another plug-in for NextSensor, V-MAP Turbin (180Kb), is designed for the VIA V-Link peripheral bus tuning. Fixed "Enable LoadLibrary hooking" option in bundled RivaTunerStatisticsServer application, which was corrupted due to internal hooking system changes introduced in the previous version.

Fixed typo in PCI DeviceID database for certain AGP G71 GPU based display adapters, causing them to be improperly detected and handled as G73 based.

Added workaround for internal MFC buffer overrun bug, causing Launcher tab to crash after adding launch item with a name containing more than 256 characters.
